Telus Tower – Toronto, ON
The Telus Tower is the new headquarters for TELUS Corporation located in the heart of Toronto’s financial district. Designed by Toronto’s Adamson Associates Architects, the Telus Tower is a 30-storey, 830,000 sq. ft., $250 million office tower that includes a two-storey podium, conference and wellness facilities, as well as 30,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor. Completed in 2009, the TELUS Tower is one of the most publicly accessible, technologically-advanced and environmentally-sustainable buildings in North America. Using the LEED certification system as a guideline for design, the Telus Tower has received Gold level certification. In addition to the LEED elements, Telus Tower showcases "Future Friendly™" Technology in both building automation systems and tenant environments. This includes floor-to-ceiling windows, raised floors for underfloor distribution of hot/cool air, and state-of-the-art communications cabling and electrical power.
